The livestock sector is one of the main foundations for ensuring food security, improving nutrition and achieving rural economic stability in a country. The contribution of indigenous breeds of ducks, chickens, cows, goats, sheep and buffaloes is very important in improving the quality of life of marginalized communities, especially in developing countries. Realizing this reality, Human Mission is implementing the “Marginal Livestock Health and Development Project” as an integrated, humanitarian and sustainable initiative.

Under this project, free quality veterinary healthcare, regular vaccination programs and necessary medicines are being distributed at the field level to protect the health, prevent diseases and increase productivity of domestic livestock. At the same time, training and capacity building programs are being conducted for marginal and small farmers on modern farm management, biosecurity, nutritional management and primary veterinary medicine.

Human Mission firmly believes that investing in livestock is investing in people’s lives. Timely, inclusive and science-based veterinary services not only reduce livestock mortality; they also have a long-term positive impact on increasing farmers’ incomes, empowering women, and producing safe and nutritious animal meat. All our activities are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are guided by the philosophy of transparency, accountability, and evidence-based development.
